Device management: You can’t post the office application to Windows 10 PC in Office 365 but in Microsoft 365 you can post the office application to Windows 10 PC. Microsoft 365 protects the Windows 10 device from malware, virus, unsafe attachments, suspicious links, etc. But this feature is missing in Office 365.


Security: A range of in-built security features comes with the plan that you have selected in Office 365. It provides you protection from data loss, advanced threat analytics, mobile device management, and threat management. Office 365 does not provide secure access to documents on mobile devices.


Whereas, Microsoft 365 comes with enhanced security features, which includes the advanced data protection functionality. 


Operating System: Microsoft 365 supports Windows 10 operating system but the operating system is missing in Office 365.
